Trains in: Contracted projects in Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, and Sierra Leone; trainings via distance learning
Focuses: Training and support for children’s book production in local languages. Has provided millions of copies of hundreds of titles of books to children. Pre-service and in-service teacher training with a focus on literacy, critical thinking, and girls’ empowerment.
Partners: Government Affairs Canada, Global Partnership for Education, UNICEF, and  education ministries in project countries.

 Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau teaches a class in Monrovia with a book produced by Reading-Liberia, as WCF co-director Yvonne Capehart Weah looks on. Reading-Liberia is a joint project of the We-Care Library, CODE, and RWCT. Mr. Trudeau is a former teacher.
